um... why shud it be the governor? does he not have an insurance commissioner? is it not his responsibility? now, if the commish is faulting oh his job, that reflects on whom - duh - the gov'nor. so sounds like he's trying to save face, when in reality - he will not be able to. you can't promise anyone a decrease in their insurance. you allowed the increase. now, if the claims has not been paid out fairly and quickly, you might be able to get that pushed quickly. your are not the company of allstate, your the g'nor. you don't own a company but are responsible for the state of florida and it's citizens. you are like the referee of a basketball game and if you let things go or slide, then the game will continue to play as is for the players and entertain the fans. so it is with the insurance. i think the g'nor needs to be checked for his insurance? maybe he's got allstate and can't get a grip on why it's so high. or he might be afraid that his term and is trying to get re-elected by playing on the consumer. apparently it's only one company so not much there when it comes to consumers. so what is his real agenda?
