In response to comments by George - The answer about allowing insurance companies charge what they want is a very loud "YES". After 27 years as an agent the solution for lower premiums is increased competition. Florida continues to suppress rates and bad mouth the industry, why would any company want to come do business in an enviroment where the government bashes and punishes an industry so important to our economic well being. To listen to Mr. Crist (I will not call him my governor) you would have to come to the conclusion we should have companies breaking their necks to come to my state to do business and get in on the gravy train of writing homeowners coverage. He and others like him (Mike Fasano) are only interested in their own political future. We will be hit again by a bad storm season, I only hope it comes while both of these morons are still in office and are there to pass out the assesments for the shortfall of what they have created.
