So if an agent refuses a contract with a carrier that is not financially secure, or has lost an AM Best rating. and has been on the Department watch list for several years, had tons of complaints regarding claims and in general provides the worse customer and agent servicing of any other carrier around, the agent should accept the offer and put up with the B--- S--- and receive lower commissions on top of it, just to avoid the call from the customer wanting to know why they refused the take out. I am of course referring to Federated National Insurance now in the middle of a new take out.
