The article cites the "Clarion Ledger" as its source. I have copied and pasted the following text from the Ledger's web site article. I think we have a journalism error here that will solve the math equation. They actually, according to the ledger, arrested 257 and issued a whopping 10,023 citations. Funny thing, it doesn't give the number of speeding tickets!?!? Check it out...

As far as traveling through MS, I would be very cautious if I were going through.... especially if I were speeding, drinking, not wearing a seatbelt and had my kids unrestrained all at the same time!!!!!
