Although i don't like to comment on political issues, look at what Clinton rode? He was on the tail end of the the internet boom that was put in place by favorable taxation laws put in place by a republican.
GW, had the unfortunate task of taking the control of a bubble that had burst. If Gore won in 2000 then he would have faced the same issue. However instead of spending 100s of billions on a war in Iraq we would have spent the money on something better, i.e. renewable energy - which would have helped us dramatically right about now.
Nonetheless, it's easy to point a finger at George and say that he's created this deficit with his war spending, but without the war we wouldn't have had the increase in US manufacturing to provide weapons and vechiles for such a war. Do I agree with going to War, No. But do i agree with blaming one person for our current situation, No.
