Kiawah Island is nice, but comparatively small, vaction spot that caters to high end people. It boasts championship golf courses and pristine beaches but is in a remote area of the state 19 miles south of Charleston. Federal money should not be used to develop it's infrastructure so private developers can profit. If these people are entrepreneurs, they need to raise money to finance their own ventures instead of bellying up to the federal trough with their grimey hands out.
