Our justice system has become a mockery. The whole innocent till proven guilty line is only on paper, in today's world, it is meaningless. There have been a many cases, civil and criminal, where the mere accusation is all that is needed. It is estimated that each year there are billions in many undisclosed settlements, that there was no real evidence in, only because sometimes its cheaper and easier to just pay off someone who claims rape. Just look at the Kobe Bryant case, which is a perfect example of that!!!

Sure he had relations with the woman, but it was not rape or sexual assault. How do we know this, because she had 2 other guys' semen IN HER, and on her sheets... a woman who has just been sexually assaulted is not about to go sleep around with several other people hours or days after the incident.

Just being accused of something as severe as rape, or even as minute as sexual harassment, or even general harassment, is all it takes. We can see this daily in work places, where two friends can go file a complaint against someone who they do not like because that person makes them look bad performance wise, and the other employee will at the very least get called in and have a bad mark on their record at that company for a long long time.
