The politicians should get out of insurance. All FL needs is one Cat 3 Hurricane and Citizens will be wiped out. They have lost the opportunity to accumulate adequate reserves as the politicians got elected by lowering rates foolishly. The idea of floating bond issues if Citizens goes under is plain stupid. Who would buy them??
Lower rates are good for votes as it is a pocket book issue. I wonder how the lower rates will be seen when claims can't be paid?? Idiots!!!!
