we shall now have no freedom what so ever and be locked away for the rest of our lives. this stuff is ridiculous. What happens to us who have jobs??? Huh??? Or us teens that decide that they want to save a little on gas and carpool to work. I mean seriously. I'd have to say at least 60% if not more of teens have a job to pay for car insurance and a car payment. How are we supposed to pay those if we are loosing anywhere from 1-2 hours of pay because we have to be home by 10pm. Its an outrage. I don't think our state government took into account all of us responsible drivers that have never had so much as a speeding ticket, but rather couldn't stop thinking about the idiot's that seem to define everyone whether they are an idiot or not. No matter what, you still have teens that the 6 month rule doesn't apply to because they've had their license that long and still be making the same mistakes as everyone else. Instead of restricting who can be in our cars and when we can drive, why don't they require every driver go through a certified drivers ed course and have proof that they went through it, before even allowing them to take the test to get their license. Again that only covers the new applicants not the ones that already have them. they think they are doing this for our well being but it really is making this more difficult for teens to be independent and be prepared for life outside of high school. I can guarantee every teen can't wait to get their license.... until now. Getting your license was kind of a right of passage and now its more of a joke.
