Agree....slim pickins for news. But as long as it's there,let's play it. As a professional sport, one must ask the question what value does golf add to the economy and or society. We have select group of individuals, not even teams, that does its own thing for big bucks. Sure the sponsors get advertising, but who really pays attention to their ads? I doubt anyone has attempted a cost benefit analysis on advertising money for golf tournaments. The only silver lining here is that these prima donna's are finally feeling the pinch, albeit a small pinch, live everyone else in a bad economy.
