Spare me. With the divorce rate at an incredible 53%, why aren't these lawmakers trying to save the sanctity of marriage in heterosexual unions? What about the children of those divorces? Has anyone stopped to think why the marriage of gay couples who have been together for many years is going to endanger let's say, oh...Britannie Spear's marriage of 24 hours? Or Liz Taylor's, what..10th marriage? I just don't understand it.
