I have always felt that if a company has a problem with a specific breed (which is almost everything now), they should surcharge for the coverage. I for one would be willing to pay it if I had a breed on the "list". Howver, I am completely in agreement with fight the "deed" not the "breed". I know first hand about pitbulls having had my daughters in my home for 3 years. The sweetest well trained animals I have ever had the pleasure of keeping. BUT, they were trained and socialized so that they would be that way.Every dog will bite given a set of circumstances or lack of training by the owner.
The reality is some people should not be allowed to have dogs but how do we go about stopping thoses fools?
