To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Jack Clausen the owner of JLC Inspections here in Southern California. I am contacting you in response to your mold and moisture management summitcoming up in January to see if I can be of service to your insurance brokers in the area of mold and moisture intrusion inspections. I was one of the first mold inspectors to get certified with the Mold Tech software by Core Environmental and have been performing mold inspections for over 6 years. I am one of the very few mold inspectors in the Nation that has the added benefit of owning 2 Mold Detection Dogs to assist us in identifying mold in hidden places of a home or office. These dogs have been trained by the same people that train Homeland security dogs as well as arson and cadaver dogs. Although the K-9's are only one of the tools in our belt, we have found them to be lifesavers during may inspections.
In the area of moisture intrusion, I am also a Certified Thermographer. Thermography is a somewhat new technology that has become affordable to inspectors as a way to fine water intrusion problems that have been very difficult to find in the past or took many man-hours to locate using metering equipment.
I am reaching out to you to see what is needed to get on P.I.A.'s your list of recommended providers. If you have a moment I would appreciate talking with you about any opportunities and JLC Inspections. I have added a list of our qualifications and a web site for you to visit. The web site is undergoing some changes and may not be up to date in some areas. I am looking forward to speaking with you.
