Subject: SB969
fail to mention is that the number of registered motorcycles increase dramatically. Obviously more bikes, more accidents. In using actual statistic's from CHP, the percentage of head injuries to accidents has actually increased after the helmet law was passed. As the greatest number of head injuries is from auto accidents and if helmets actually do decrease head injuries, than all automobile drivers should were helmets. It would definately decrease the number of accidents caused by cell phone use.
