SCIF like all the other claims offices in this state does the best they can with the resources they have. They pay and pay and pay....and occasionally some numb nuts hits the radar and gets caught. And, oh man, it feels good. Everyone, everyone agrees it feels good to catch a fraud. The problem is only the claims office is on the look-out for the fraudulent bastards. I've yet to see a claimant or his/her attorney to turn a bum in. They will typically simply dismiss the claimant and substiture out of the case and wash the hands clean. Somehow it all falls on the insurance companies to police the bad guys, and thus be blamed for not doing enough. Is this justice?
