This story rings similar to the Michigan case with the plane landing on a truck driving down the highway; obviously the truck's driver did not intend to cause damage to the landing aircraft, but the plane owner's carrier stuck the truck's carrier with the bill anyway, and the courts upheld it!

Who's running these companies, or better still, who's calling the shots on these ridiculous decisions to stiff the innocent victims?
