In my humble opinion the best thing for all California drivers to do is enlist their elected officials to pass legislation that removes from the list of "other factors" that one item that allows insurance companies to use "where a vehicle is garaged." The California Insurance Commissioner has stated he thinks it is unfair and even wanted to do something about and this is the best he can do? Now he is asking for an investigation into alligations that he has been threatened by members of the insurance industry if he doesn't hold off implementing the new rule changes and negative campagine ads will be made against him in his bid for the Lt. Governers position if and when he decides to run. If you ask me the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, a non-profit organization, runs the insurance industry and the commissioners and law makers just think they do? Now if we can get the Insurance Commissioner and legislature to make it law everyone has to have medical insurance and work as hard keeping those costs in check hey everyone would have quality health coverage in America at an affordable price, even Rx. Face it Private Automobile Insurance is the bread and butter of the insurance industry and I would imagine there is a lot of money going to important people in both Washington D.C. and Sacramento. But hey, that is just my opinion.
