Don't know much about him other than he tried to run for State Assembly a few years ago in the Silicon Valley Area. He has been very successful as a High Tech entreprenuer and has some very deep pockets. He came close to winning in a very gerrymandered district that would normally go GOP if it was not so custom carved to favor democrats. Poizner is a moderate and is not taking a dime from the industry, perhaps is the really reason that Bustamante returned money back to the industry.

The Industry should be as shamed as much as Bustamante has shamed himself. The industry should know better that left-wing types will never understand economics nor making logically sound decisions. Poinzer may be the best bet, he has run his own company and will not put up with industry nonsense.
