The UNUM Market Conduct report is quite interesting. http://www20.insurance.ca.gov/cyberdocs/Libraries/DOCS_WEB/Common/frameset.asp

But their conduct regarding rescission actions pales in comparison to that of Blue Cross.

If UNUM violations were cause of $8 million fine, then can we look forward to $17 million for Blue Cross? As we speculate, I wonder if the big guys at Blue Cross are sitting down trying to work out things with the guys at the Dept of Insurance?
