Obviously none of you know much, if anything about Hawaii or non-Hawaiian kids in their schools. It is a BIG problem. Many of the Hawaiians do not like outsiders and most kids that are not Hawaiian are enrolled in private and charter schools for this reason. They get beat up and ridiculed to the point that they receive no education and a great deal of the teachers do turn the other way. If nothing else, we all need to care about our kids. Do you tell your kids to "cowboy up" and just take it if they get beat up every day? I think not. Plus the fact, this is definitely an Insurance issue, who do you think pays out if a teacher or school gets sued for a kid getting hurt?
