Subject: How Bad Is It?
By not taking the time to head off a potentially larger problem for these kids as they grow & learn that it is OK to be a bully - will there be major discrimination suits in their future? How about those that are being bullied? Will they take law & become attorneys to fight the bullies in court?
I think every child should be given the opportunity to see how others react & interact, but I agree that it is to the advantage of the school system to nip this in the bud now before it gets totally out of control.
At least if they do something now then the children will learn about it instead of just doing it & remaining ignorant to the possibilities of having a friend of a different nationality or race.
It's all what is learned in their homes, and if they are not taught any better, then the bigotry remains & continues to grow & be passed on from generation to generation...
This is a great article for IJ - It is insurance related, as I am sure that if there have been significant problems that the school claims have been turned in & ultimately it's the insurance companies that pay for the defense & damages.
Happy Fri-Day!
