Arnie says "I share a genuine concern for the safety and well being of young
passengers traveling in motor vehicles with their parents. Ultimately, it has to be the parents who are responsible for their children's safety," Schwarzenegger wrote in vetoing the measure.

Then why pass the "no smoking bill"? Shouldn't parents be responsible for thier childrens "health" issues as well?

What is this world coming to...

It's okay to let a kid sit in a vehicle going 60 miles an hour when it has been proven that height and weight factors into the safety and effectiveness of seat belts in motor vehicles?

Can someone explain the "weight" of these two proposals and why one is more important than the other?
