It is sad that the doctor prescribed two medications that should not be taken together and ever sadder that Walgreens did not notice...my pharmacy has always stopped me with questions and even strongly asked that they could contact the doctor for me. I am not an advocate of doing so all the time but at least someone has been questioning these things for me. It helps to make a more informed decision....having said that, I doubt making Walgreens the payee is going to help.....I don't know about you but I am WELL aware of what Methadone is, what it can do etc. If I were getting it, I would really be concerned about the dosage and interactions but I am the kind of consumer who is wary about things like this. Too bad the coach wasn't; he must have been in severe pain; and if I remember my mother's cancer, the relief of pain was the most important concern for her, the coach too probably trusted too much....
