In workers' compensation the rating is a math formula which is adjusted for age. For injured workers over 39 the rating is increased. For younger workers it is lowered. The older an injured worker is the higher the rating. I wonder why the aged worker never complains about that discriminatory practice? Because they get the benefit. Why doesn't the insurance carrier complain? That might be a nice test case.
