"Diminution in value" is only a viable argument when you actually sell the vehicle and there is objective evidence to support it. Unlike a vehicle that is severely damaged and extensively repaired, the "theory" that the Explorer is worth less because of the rollover propensity would have to be supported. It sounds like the settlement didn't cost much bottomline. I wonder how the dirtbags who took the case will squeeze money out for their fee? Maybe they'll get multiple coupons for a discount on their next Ford. Poetic justice.
