I've worked for both top and bottom ranked insurance companies in the last year handling auto repair in Oregon. This survey was interesting as I can see ranking seems more based on auto body shop profits then customer service. An great example is the D rated company adjusters are required to call the shop throughout the repair process and follow up with the shop closely monitering repair status and possible problems to me this is more caring then The Bcompany I worked for where a check is written and the auto is forgotten unless someone brings it to their attention that things are not going well This is what I consider more improtant part of customer service. Letting shops charge higher rates or use less cost effective parts does not the effect the customer customer satisfaction but just padds the walletts of the body shop owners. After my experience with Both fromthe inside I would prefer the D company to take care of my car.
