Another gutless bill by politicians. Med pay will be added to all policies written or renewed after 01/01/09 BUT the insured can reject it. We have an OPT IN situation now. It will change to an OPT OUT. From an agent's perspective I wish they would have left it alone or made it truly mandatory. It is a payoff to the emergency care providers.
