CA is a tinder box and wildfires are an annual event. How many resources and dollars are going to be wasted playing this game? Maybe they should let the state "burnout" once and for all so they wouldn't have this problem every year. It ain't that pretty to begin with. I guess without those scrub pines they'd have an even worse erosion and mudslide problem.
