All live free or die riders think like you right up to the impact. My helmet saved my life when an idiot backed out in front of me. No amount of training could have prevented the accident. Another fellow in my room had permanent brain damage because he wasn't wearing a helmet. Natural selection is cruel, but that't the way of the world.
