it won't matter, but the major complaint is why did not the claims folks properly identify the claim. afterall, the dates of the stolen items alone would have rung up a bell. secondly, it was his former wife - who had joint possession of the items, so it was not stolen.

sound like he was fishy to me because he probably did not get the items he wanted from the divorce and figured he could possibly salvage by getting his return based on the almighty dollar. in this case, it will cost him no pennies, but jailtime and a fine to give back to the state. um...um... and he wants to be an elected official -- oooh, they get away with those things or attempt to; he just might fit in!
