Someone getting stewed does so as an assumption of liability.
A bus passenger shouldn't have to assume the liability for their own safety. They don't create the exposure.
While a drunk could carry a pillow taped to their butts, a bus rider can't easily strap themselves into the seat.
And bars can always put the drunks in booths so they can only fall face-forward onto the tables, instead of sideways.
Plus, bars do get sued for their lack of customer custodianship, don't they, especially when the customer leaves and plows down or into someone.
