As a wholesale broker, the app that was most complete allowed me to match with the best carriers in the f...

Re: Premium basis in Schedule of Hazards

I was trained that class 63011 Dwellings - Two Family would be more appropriate and the premium basis would be "1". I wonder how many other options will be posted here? Isn't insurance fun! :D

Re: Additional Insureds in Workers Comp

Re: time management for employees

The list of things to do is unending. Check on status of old work comp claims. If you are automated, review the "canned" letters in your system and update the closing paragraphs for a fresh look. Send cross-sell letters on various lines. Have the two CSRs review their procedures so they ar...

California State Fund will add Additional Insured Endorsements to their policies. My 40 years experience always dictated no AIs on work comp. Well SCIF proved me wrong. Just goes to show everything in our industry is subject to change which continues to keep me on my toes. Nothing is for sure!

Burns & Wilcox can handle this for you. They are one of the largest MGAs representing Scottsdale. I have insured a number of surf camps with them over the years. Usually short term policies that frequently include a City as an Additional Insured.
