Re: Now what?...

Hi Joatmon,

Have you thought about hooking up with an independent agency that will allow you to own the book of business produced by you. It will be a lot easier to attract insurance companies when you have a book of business and you would not need an E&O insurance, they will provide it for you.

I wonder if it would be better for a start-up agency to have a contract with a large, well established independent agency to write a business thru them? Agency Management System

I have few questions about AMS 360 on-line system:

1. Can you download customer data from Insurance Quote forms into the system?

2. Can you upload customers data from AMS 360 into the Insurance company's database?

3. What is a setup fee?

4. What are the monthly fees?

Thank you.

Re: MLight, stay in your current occupation

MLight, No insurance companies do not want your "emailed" application from an "unlicensed producer" for a client you have never met for coverages you have not inspected, etc. etc. etc. Stay in your current field, computers. or whatever. Sorry, you misunderstood me ... what I mea...

Electronic submission

I'm relatively new to this business, so I don't know exactly how the whole process works. I have several questions of the basic Agency's procedures: 1. Does an Agent have to meet a client face-to-face in order to conduct a NEW business or a client can submit required data electronically (by email or...
