Has anyone else recently gotten appointed with CIG? If so, how do you like working with them? How is their claims service?

First American Specialty

Has anyone had experience with them in California? How hard is it to get an appointment with them? How is writing business with them? Are they easy or difficult to work with?

I see that they have really competitive rates for homes in Socal
Thanks in advance.

Re: QQEvolution AMS ???

I'm looking to switch to a new agency management system too and looking for affordable recommendations.

Really frustrated with the current one because we can't even use it.

Thanks

Re: Insurance Noodle vs. Superior Access vs. Agent Secure

I've tried all 3 and I think that Insurance Noodle is the best for Commercial Lines by far. Their turn around times are super fast and great customer service. Their staff are really knowledgeable.

Did you check with Mercury? Mercury has a program for select agents. Not sure about Florida though.

Re: Service Center

Has anyone recently switched to using a service center? If so, how did it go? Or, has anyone used a service center and then gone back to servicing your clients directly? I have a smaller agency and starting to think that this might be a good idea. It's a very small percentage (i think like 2 points)...

Lessors Risk for Bar in California?

I have a client that owns a commercial building. The owner of the building leases it out to a bar. Do you have any recommendations for this type of a risk?

Thank you in advance.

Earthquake coverage for Apartment Buildings in CA

Can anyone recommend a good place to get a quote for earthquake coverage for commercial apartment buildings in California? I sent it off to one place, but haven't heard back from them in a week.... so, I'm looking for other markets.

Thanks in advance.

Insurance Noodle is great for faster turnaround on commercial lines. Funny name, but good service.

Re: CPCU - Worth it right now?

CPCU is one of the most respected designations in the P&C businesss. If you think you can commit to study the materials and pass the tests, then I would recommend it. I'm sure it will help you greatly in the long run.

How much does it normally cost? Can you usually do it at a self-pace?

Re: Help with hiring a CSR

Thanks for your help. So, you think it's too much of a risk for having a CSR working at the same time for another agency? Why would you consider hiring someone that works for a direct competitor while they would be working for you? Seems like a conflict of interest. Even an honest mistake (punching ...
