Hello
this is my first post and i hope that i am posting to the right place
I am wondering how does a liability insurance work for a construction scheduling and construction estimating consultant. i searched the web and there are inruance for engineers architect or construction managers but didnt see any mention of scheduling and estimating. does it mean i must go thru these kind of insurance firms and then they will subtract the coverage of engineering and construction management? is that how it should work?

I would think you would be classified as a business consultant and rated as an office exposure.

If you are EVER on jobsites, that changes everything. As far as general liability exposure you don't have much more than any other consultants office.

If you want Professional/E&O insurance, the exposure is much greater and the price of insurance would be also.
