Two years ago I went from AMS AFW to Applied Vision as I was told by the salesperson that Vison would supply me with the current ACORD forms that I needed for a particular MGA. To date Vision has still not provided current "up to date" ACORD forms and keeps putting me off. I am forced to do double entry as the MGA requires the ACORD forms to be current. Applied has told me that EPIC will supply these but I have no reason to believe them. I am now in the process of moving to AMS 360 and regret the day I went to Applied.

I have seen both products and found Epic to be interesting but I think they have a long way to go. They still don’t have features found even in AfW like the ability to copy screen grids and past them to Excel. What I find most interesting is the shift Applied Systems has taken in their advertising. From “Game On” to “Get Ready. Get Epic.” Their written approach is also softer and more product focused then an attack on AMS. The new ad still sounds a bit arrogant.
