Maryland Broker Fees

Hi again,

I was wondering if anyone can clarify something for me in Maryland.

I have been checking on what constitutes taxable amount in Maryland besides the premium and I've been getting different responses from different entities. Are fees such as broker, inspection, policy, service fees for example subject to the 3% Surplus Lines tax?
