Position summary:
Our Management Liability department is seeking an Underwriting Analyst to join our growing team in our Denver, CO; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Santa Anna, CA; or San Francisco, CA.

The Management Liability Underwriting Analyst is responsible for providing underwriting support functions to Management Liability and Fidelity & Crime businesses. Individuals will handle routine underwriting as well as support processes including renewal preparatory work, endorsements, and policy issuance with a focus on strong customer service, data integrity and high quality production.

This is a Full-time, Exempt role.

Responsibilities/ssential Functions:

  • Accountable for agency plan and is expected to develop and enhance underwriting skills, knowledge, and acumen.
  • Initial focus will be on developing renewal underwriting skills and book management, followed by developing new business underwriting and sales skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or currently being pursued
  • 0-2+ years underwriting experience; 2+ years insurance experience preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment¬† to achieve results.
