About the Job:

GREAT TELECOMMUTING OPPORTUNITY. The right candidate for this high-level telecommuting position will have overall responsibility for the company’s entire claims department. He/she will manage all claims specialties, including Casualty, Property, Primary, Excess and Reinsurance. Though operating remotely, this leader must maintain a professional and consistent presence with regard to claims operations and files, ensuring achievement of organization objectives and key organizational initiatives. The successful candidate must also help assure compliance with the company’s contractual and legal obligations. This position requires strong technical skills, a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of diverse manager-level experience with commercial property and casualty claims.

Frequent communication with the management team and periodic visits to our main offices in Woodland Hills will be required. If you have a strong work ethic, exercise good judgment, demonstrate superior attention to detail, and if you work well as a remote team leader, this is the job for you.

About the Candidate:

Candidate must be able to:

• Provide cover letter explaining how you are above average and why you are looking for a new job;
• Oversee and direct claims practices and methodology;
• Set goals that support corporate objectives;
• Design processes and procedures to ensure that goals are attained;
• Ensure compliance with corporate and legal requirements;
• Convey working knowledge of contract and tort law, coverage analysis, claims investigation, valuation and adjusting techniques, and litigation management;
• Communicate professionally at all levels within and outside the organization;
• Remain courteous and respectful towards everyone and provide a high level of excellent Customer Service;
• Maintain corporate and personal privacy and security of sensitive information.
