Homeowners with unresolved hurricane damage claims will have a chance this month to discuss their concerns in town hall meetings hosted by Tom Gallagher, Florida’s CEO in hurricane-ravaged areas.
The first meeting was tentatively scheduled in Pensacola March 2. Gallagher said he wanted to talk with storm victims in the Panhandle first because that is where the largest percentage of storm claims are still unresolved.
Other town hall meetings will be scheduled in early March in Port Charlotte, Orlando and Melbourne. Details on dates, locations and times will be announced soon. Meetings will be scheduled after working hours to ensure storm victims will be able to attend. Teams of consumer specialists will be on-hand to help policyholders one-on-one.
