General Liability Program for Artisan Contractors
Nuts & Bolts: Anderson & Murison Inc. has a general liability program for artisan contractors. Twenty-seven specific classes qualify, including air conditioning contractors, carpentry-interior, electrical, plumbing and swimming pool contractors. Contractors working on tract, condo or townhouses are not eligible.
Dollars: Policy limits span $1 to $2 million, $500 property damage deductible and a minimum premium of $1,000.

Nuts & Bolts: Target Insurance Services has a new E&O/EPLI market for Management Consultants. The program is available to technology consultants, including those in information technology. Firms with revenues up to $25 million are eligible.
Dollars: Policy limits up to $5 million, deductibles starting at $2,500 and a minimum premium of $3,000.

Commercial Liability With Excess Limits
Nuts & Bolts: AIG Excess Casualty, a division of the property and casualty subsidiaries of American International Group Inc. (AIG), introduced AIG ExcessPrime, a $25 million commercial liability program that provides insureds with additional excess limits. AIG ExcessPrime is designed to sit in excess of $50 million lead commercial umbrella insurance. To qualify for AIG ExcessPrime, an AIG member company must currently underwrite the existing lead commercial umbrella layer. The program offers occurrence and claims made forms to provide substantial flexibility to risk managers who need a variety of coverage options. The AIG ExcessPrime initiative features a streamlined quoting process for current AIG clients. When an insured submits an application for lead umbrella coverage, the AIG Excess Casualty underwriting team will automatically provide a quote for AIG ExcessPrime, eliminating the need to submit multiple applications for various coverages. Insureds will also reportedly benefit from the AIG Companies' extensive underwriting expertise on both lead and excess lines, with the standards typically seen within the lead layers now applied to excess coverage requests.

Environmental Multi-Line for Contractors and Consultants
Nuts & Bolts: Arch Insurance Group, a division of Arch Capital Group Ltd., introduced an environmental multi-line policy, which offers insurance for environmental contractors and consultants requiring multiple coverages in one integrated policy. The new policy provides a broad coverage solution in a single, integrated package for environmental contractors and consultants who have environmental risk exposure. The integrated policy form offers insureds and brokers flexibility of coverage, limits, deductibles and trigger types in one well integrated and easy to understand package. Coverage may not be available in all states and may vary from state to state. Offered coverages include commercial general liability, contractors pollution liability and errors and omissions. Options for individual or combined aggregate limits are incorporated as well as the availability of occurrence coverages or claims made. Policies may be written on a blanket or project-specific basis and excess coverage is available. Target markets consist of environmental contractors, environmental consultants, environmental project managers, emergency response contractors, remediation contractors and environmental engineers.
Dollars: The policy has a deductible of $5,000, minimum premium of $25,000 and limits of liability up to $25 million.
