FirstFed Insurance Agency, which is part of FirstFed America Bancorp. Inc., has acquired Smith-Cochrane Insurance Agency and All Risk Insurance Agency, both of Swansea, Massachusetts. Frank Smith, the agency principal for Smith-Cochrane, will continue to work in the agency and the agency will continue to operate under the Smith-Cochrane name at its present location. All Risk’s customers will be serviced directly by FirstFed Insurance.
