The New York subsidiary of national insurance intermediary Brown & Brown announced that it has acquired the business of Virgil N. Sestito, a sole proprietor doing business as Sestito Insurance Agency, of Rome, New York, effective January 1, 2002.
Sestito, with annual revenue approximating $200,000, is a commercial and personal lines insurance agency serving the Rome, New York area. The operations of Sestito Insurance Agency will be combined with Brown & Brown’s existing Rome, New York office, and Virgil Sestito and his staff will be joining Brown & Brown, said the announcement.
