Surviving in a crisis environment will be the theme of a one-day seminar sponsored by the Insurance Marketing Communication Association (IMCA) tomorrow, Jan. 10, at the Philadelphia International Airport Marriott.
“William Bailey, special counsel to the Insurance Information Institute, will present the keynote address, ‘ WTC 9/11: The Insurance Industry’s Worst Nightmare.’ Bailey, who has been working at Ground Zero with crisis management experts, government offices and the media, will describe how the industry is dealing with the aftermath of Sept. 11,” said the announcement.
He will also be part of a panel discussion, “Communication Issues Facing the Insurance Industry Post 9/11.” Other panel members include: William Eyre, Jr., CEO & principal, Towers Perrin Reinsurance; Martin Ross, publisher & corporate vice president, Crain Communication; Tom Slattery, publishing consultant. — Brian Tierney, president & CEO, Tierney Communications. Tom Curry, publisher of Risk & Insurance magazine will act as the moderator.
