James A.Tignanelli will take over as head of Prudential New Jersey’s property/ casualty business, following his appointment as president of The Prudential Property and Casualty Insurance Company of New Jersey (PRUPAC NJ).
“Tignanelli has been with Prudential for 24 years and has extensive experience in the property and casualty arena,” said the announcement. “He began his career at PRUPAC as Claims Consultant and held successive positions within the company, assuming oversight for all property and casualty operations for New Jersey in 1989 as the primary Government Affairs attorney.”
PRUPAC NJ is the second largest homeowner insurer and the fifth largest auto insurer in the State, and has been a leader in New Jersey’s auto insurance industry, playing an important role in auto insurance reform.
