Benfield Group plc, a U.K.-based reinsurance intermediary, announced the relocation of its U.S. headquarters from Dallas to Westport, Conn. effective
Sept. 9.
Rod Fox, CEO of Benfield Blanch said, “Several factors contributed to the move. The Westport location brings the bulk of our management team together in one location. And, given the global nature of our business, we also wanted our US headquarters located near the major financial hub of New York.”
The new Westport headquarters will house the offices of the CEO as well as the company’s corporate services functions. Benfield Blanch’s existing Westport branch will also relocate to the new headquarters site.
