DriverShield Corp. of Ronkonkoma, N.Y. appointed John McIntyre as its new president.
McIntyre has been a member of DriverShield’s Board of Directors since October 2001. Gerald Zutler, who has served as President and COO of the Company since 1998, is assuming a new role as technical adviser to the Chairman and CEO, Barry Siegel.
McIntyre was a co-founding stockholder of a national insurance company and is the founder and owner of Apple Auto Body Incorporated located in Randolph, Massachusetts.
DriverShield, founded in 1983, provides Internet-based collision repair and claims management services for auto insurance companies and offers automotive discounts and services programs to members of affinity groups, primarily through financial institutions and membership organizations, serving the needs of approximately one million drivers.
