Insurity, a ChoicePoint® has signed a licensing agreement with Venture Programs Inc. for its Commercial Intellisys system. Venture Programs will use Commercial Intellisys for Windows® to rate and process policies for workers’ compensation in multiple states.
“Insurity offered the most efficient, multi-functional system to handle the specialty markets that we serve,” Joseph Dolce, vice president, Venture Programs Inc., said. “The system was fully NCCI and state bureau compliant at the point of installation, and has provided our agents the capability for rapid quotation and issuance of multi-state policies, as well as reduced rating and printing errors. We’re currently researching additional Insurity products for bureau reporting capabilities, year-end statistical reporting, and on-line broker access for quotes and account information. We look forward to upgrading our working relationship with Insurity in the future.”
“Maintaining data is an important part of the service we provide,” Jeffrey Glazer, vice president of Insurity, said. “For specialist lines of business like workers’ comp, the amount of effort spent updating rates, rules and forms can be overwhelming. Placing the onus of content management on our shoulders will allow Venture Programs to stay focused on their core business.”
