The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey Inc. (PIANJ) celebrated the five-year anniversary of its Advantage and Advantage Plus agent education programs, in which enrollment has grown to include almost 25 percent of all PIANJ member agencies.
“The initial Advantage benefits focused on providing members with up-to-date trends and information about the insurance industry; they have now expanded to include unprecedented, free education programs, legal consultation and networking opportunities,” said David J. Madara, CPCU, AAI, president of PIANJ. “With the growing enrollment, more benefits including additional membership opportunities, electronic marketing materials and new online education opportunities such as the MindLeaders program—which offers an extensive library of top-quality, ready-to-use computer-based training and self-study products.”
Additional benefits provided by Advantage or Advantage Plus are free seminars, workshops, an electronic commercial lines newsletter and savings on marketing and advertising services.
