The Professional Insurance Agents of New York State Inc. will host its annual Metropolitan Regional Awareness Program Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003 at the New York Marriott Brooklyn, Brooklyn, N.Y., starting at 8 a.m. This is PIANY’s first RAP scheduled for the year.
MetroRAP will feature an expansive trade show, networking opportunities, a keynote luncheon featuring a discussion by Warren Heck, chairman and CEO of the GNY Mutual Insurance Co. and excellent education sessions for continuing education credit including Current Developments, Trends and Strategies in Insurance Agents’ and Brokers’ E&O Liability, and A Panel Discussion: E&S Insurance in the Hard Market.
This year’s MetroRAP also will feature the presentation of the Insurance Executive of the Year award to Richard Zick, president and CEO of Utica First Insurance Co. The New York Young Insurance Professional of the Year award will be given to Vincent Polese, CIC, of CRC Insurance Services. The Bernard Kozel and Arthur I. Moll Memorial Scholarships also will be distributed at this time.
